Hosted by the Integrative Trauma Treatment Academy. It’s never too late to be motivated for change, and older adults have the capacity for growth along the trajectory of life. By attending this training, therapists will identify key components of motivational interviewing. The spirit of MI will be discussed, along with recommended scripts and tools to enhance motivation and change in older adults. 2 CEUs are available.

Participants will be able to:

• Classify various components of motivational interviewing principles.
• Explain strategies to elicit change talk.
• Illustrate the implementation of motivational interviewing through case studies and scripts.
